New Pens, New Ink

I had a great field trip to Detroit. I went to my usual places, PenzDetroiT and Paradise Pen. New Pens include: Pelikan Junior, Pelikan Twist, and Pilot Metropolitan. New inks include: Diamine Hope Pink, Waterman Red, Noodler’s Dragon’s Napalm, and Noodler’s Gray. At Hobby Lobby I picked up some Faber-Castell artist pens. And I ordered Copic multiliners and yellow ink from Jet Pens. Art projects, here I come.

Whatcha Mean, What’s a Zine?

Whatcha Mean, What’s a Zine?: The Art of Making Zines and Mini-Comics” by Mark Todd and Esther Pearl Watson is a great read. I learned new folding techniques to try with my own zines. Definitely a necessary book for zinesters everywhere.
