Since this has been the year of art, I’ve been organizing my studio, including my art supplies. I have 35 sketchbooks that I would like to fill by the end of the year. –3 marker pads –9 watercolor pads –6 charcoal pads –15 for sketching –2 for projects
I have decided to participate in The Sketchbook Project. My sketchbook has arrived in the mail, and now I’m working on what story I want to tell and illustrate. If you’re interested in participating, click here for more information.
This year I’m using a sketchbook for my NaNo novel, and I’ll be using a fountain pen. Every week I’ll track how much ink I’ve used. I’m starting a new bottle of Waterman‘s South Sea Blue with the fountain pen I bought from Pens and More.
Volume 11 is complete. It was the first journal to have blank pages. Sketchbooks are awesome writing journals.
I finished my tenth journal. This marks the end of a period where I relied on lined notebooks. I’ve started using a Flexi-Sketch sketchbook for my next journal. Charlotte’s story was drafted in a Flexi-Sketch, as will my next novel.
