NaNo 2018–Day 30–, 91,001 words
Wow, what a month! It turns out that I did not reach the end of the story until 91,001 words, so I did not do a Dare novel this time, though that is still something I would like to do. I also did not reach 100K, but 91K is pretty close. I beat several of …
NaNo 2017–Day 5
Made it to 20,018. Winter Wheat helped give me some ideas for this novel and more. It was a good weekend.
Failed Novel to Graphic Novel
I have attempted Charlotte’s story in multiple novel drafts. I still haven’t found the perfect form, but the graphic novel was a great experiment. I worked at Seed yesterday and finished the sketchbook I’ve been using for Charlotte’s novel. Now comes the typing. And revision. And art. I am so excited to take this draft to the next level.
More Novel Progress
I went to Seed Coworking and for two hours, I worked on my novel and talked to fellows. In the process, I wrote 20 entries of my novel, which beats my record of 11. Yesterday I finished a research book, and I walked away with even more ideas for entries. Looks like I’ll be able …
