NaNo–Day 6

So I was able to get caught up from yesterday. My nap lasted longer than expected. But it is okay because I was able to make it to 10737 words. Definitely getting a better idea of this novel’s shape and characters.

And it helps that I was able to get my new laptop today. I am loving it so far. A beauty to type on, though I am adjusting to the new computer and Windows 8.

How is your NaNo novel coming?

NaNo–Day 4

I did not make a lot of progress yesterday, but I made up for it. I am pleased with the 7828 words I have so far. And 3314 of them occurred this morning.

NaNo–Day 2

Day two is over. In two different writing sessions and a brainstorming session in between sessions, I was able to make it to 4063 words. Novel number four is looking pretty good.

NaNo–Day 1

The first day of NaNo went well! I wrote 1824 words, going above and beyond the goal of 1667 for the first day. I had my last lunch (it wasn’t Ramen) before NaNo started. I couldn’t recall the last time I ate soup that wasn’t Ramen or wasn’t made by myself.

NaNoWriMo 2012 Preparations

It’s almost November! This year will be my fourth NaNo. To prepare for the challenge, I bought a new journal from Under the Mango Tree while I was at the Ohio Renaissance Festival. And it will be my NaNo 2012 notebook. Already I’ve made lists of potential places to visit in my time-traveling novel, like Charlotte Corday’s death, the War of 1812, Pompeii, and more.

If you are interested in doing NaNoWriMo yourself, here’s the website.

I promise it will be fun and on December 1, you can brag that you wrote a novel in 30 days.
