NaNo–Day 4
Today I had an interesting writing session as I worked on my novel. I stopped to research names, I listened to Finlandia by Jean Sibelius, and I discovered that my characters have four tests to pass on their adventure. My word count is now 7951.
NaNo–Day 3
At the BG Kick Off party, I discovered from a fellow participant that one of the forum threads on the NaNo website is called Dares. So I included in my word count today a dare about mentioning the game and a second dare to introduce a sacred heart quest. I am thrilled for the prompts …
NaNo–Day 2
With 300 words to go to hit the day’s goal, I sat at my computer until I wrote those 300 words. My word count is at 3384, so I am on target for finishing on time. Today I didn’t have to refill my pen. I had a great time at the Kick Off Party in …
NaNo–Day 1
My fifth NaNo is off to a good start. I wrote 1730 words today and made it to the 1667 goal.

If you would like to learn more about NaNoWriMo, click …

NaNo 2012
This year, my NaNo was a success. Without a novel on board, I have caught up on some chores. Looking back over the month, there were several days my word count was zero, but the most words I wrote in one day was 5275. This was the first NaNo where I finished two days early …
NaNo–Day 28
Today is a record. I have not finished NaNo prior to November 30, so to finish on November 28 with 50,396 words is pretty awesome. To sleeping for a full eight hours and writing more poetry, I welcome December.
