I’ve been juggling my to-do lists and project lists on post-it notes, Trello, and in various writing journals. A friend recommended Bullet Journal, so I’ve started one. Already I’m enjoying the system in combination with techniques from “Getting Things Done.”
Trello has been a fantastic resource for keeping track of my to-do lists. With a smaller list of tasks to do for the week, I’ll make small steps toward completing my goals.
Trello has done wonders for me this year. But even then I have felt overwhelmed by the number of projects on my to-do list. So I combined my boards for a total of four: Writing, Short Stories, Artist’s Way, and Art Projects. And I started making goals for the week. Three to five small things …
One of my writing friends introduced me to Trello, and it has been a useful tool to organize my writing and art projects. I’ve also started the Artist’s Way course again. My daily writing and art is going well. Finally on a seven-day streak of writing and making art every day. Happy National Poetry Month!
