NaNo–Day 17
Winter Wheat was amazing! All of the sessions I attended inspired new poems and conflicts for my NaNo novel. I’m at 26,660 words, but I will catch up. We watched this video.
NaNo–Day 13
I have hit the halfway mark. Today I made it to 25264 words. Whew. And it’s nice to make it to 25 thousand words before November 15.
NaNo–Day 11
Today I made it to 20565 words. My document in Word is 78 pages. It is difficult to believe I’ve already written that much. In two or three days, I will be at the halfway point!
NaNo–Day 8
I am now at 14,235 words. Yesterday was a slow day. I am still reeling from the writing session on Sunday because it was amazing. And now all I have to do is top it! And a note to my future self: do as many of the chores as possible before NaNo. Laundry, recyclable items, …

So I was able to get caught up from yesterday. My nap lasted longer than expected. But it is okay because I was able to make it to 10737 words. Definitely getting a better idea of this novel’s shape and characters. And it helps that I was able to get my new laptop today. I …
NaNo–Day 4
I did not make a lot of progress yesterday, but I made up for it. I am pleased with the 7828 words I have so far. And 3314 of them occurred this morning.
NaNo–Day 2
Day two is over. In two different writing sessions and a brainstorming session in between sessions, I was able to make it to 4063 words. Novel number four is looking pretty good.
NaNo–Day 1
The first day of NaNo went well! I wrote 1824 words, going above and beyond the goal of 1667 for the first day. I had my last lunch (it wasn’t Ramen) before NaNo started. I couldn’t recall the last time I ate soup that wasn’t Ramen or wasn’t made by myself.
