The end of pumpkin bread
I used the last of my pumpkin puree, so no more pumpkin bread until the fall. I finished reading Raymond Carver’s “Cathedral” and Matt Bell’s “How They Were Found.”
The short story I’ve been thinking about for months is making progress. It’s nice to have something on paper. And there’s a nice short fiction making progress.
The New York Times talked about Jeanette Winterson’s memoir here: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/03/25/books/review/jeanette-wintersons-new-memoir.html?pagewanted=1&_r=1&nl=books&adxnnl=1&emc=edit_bk_20120323&adxnnlx=1332592360-9iMGrSZ4IDOihUZ5OtOlzw. I’m going to check it out.
And keep an ear out for more info about a writing conference in Bowling Green next Saturday.
