Since I’ve discovered the Lizzie Bennet Diaries, I’ve thought about the process of adapting a novel into a vlog. What story would you adapt? What would change?

For this exercise, I would adapt “A Confederacy of Dunces” by John Kennedy Toole. Ignatius writes letters to Myrna and writes his histories and the working boy stories. What if he addressed the camera instead of paper and pen? Instead of filming the rally against Levy Pants, what if Ignatius shared his plans on the vlog and then the results? I could keep the story in New Orleans, but update it to modern-day like the Lizzie Bennet Diaries.
