The works of Lynd Ward
I finished six of Lynd Ward’s wordless novels. Now to read his “Storyteller without Words.” The Library of America editions include essays by Ward himself about his novels. The words are beautiful, describing his process behind each novel and his craft. Every artist and writer should read his essay “On ‘God’s Man'” and “On ‘Madman’s Drum'” because Ward describes the creative process as a journey.
