NaNo–Day 1
The first day of NaNo went well! I wrote 1824 words, going above and beyond the goal of 1667 for the first day. I had my last lunch (it wasn’t Ramen) before NaNo started. I couldn’t recall the last time I ate soup that wasn’t Ramen or wasn’t made by myself.

I’ve written very little since spraining my finger. I am sad to lose my head start in NaNo, but it is what it is. Luckily I only have to wear the splint for a week before going back to the doctor, so I will continue trudging.
20344–NaNo
Yesterday I reached 20344 words during the Prairie Margins write-in 6-7:15 p.m. And I discovered the original climax I thought of no longer applies. Oops! Good to know it isn’t going to work so I can work toward the proper one. Almost halfway there! Keep noveling.
